Just saw Iain Gray again on Newsnight. Think Brewer was going pretty easy on him tonight after the last episode!! But even so, in the age of presentation politics, Iain Gray has not got a chance.
Has he?

Only 3 days to go until the announcement.
Does anyone have any idea/preference/on who the next leader will be on are Labour simply insignificant now? _________________ Visit the Our Scotland Blog at http://our-scotland.blogspot.com/ |

| I predict Gray, as London's choice, will win. This will make Kerr all the more bitter and even more of a back-stabber. Come 2011 they'll be looking for another leader after their next Holyrood defeat. |

Nah, not really. I don't think it'll make any great difference one way or the other.

Astonishingly enough,Labour seem to have messed this one up too, according to The Herald:
| Quote: |
Labour will elect a new Scottish leader tomorrow, and the party will be hoping for a clear-cut victor.
If it is a close-run affair there could be embarrassment over the handling of the union vote, after The Herald learned that the two biggest unions in Scotland may have sent ballot papers to members who are not entitled to vote.
Both Unison and Unite unions are said to have sent ballot papers out asking recipients to self-certify that they are entitled to vote, an anomaly given that they should only have sent out papers to those members who have signed up to the Labour Party levy in the first place. |

Seems about right for this mob.
I would`ve been astonished if there hadn`t been a rule confusion.
