No Blackleaf, the Poms is aimed squarely at you's lot I'm afraid. Poms is a well known derogatory term for English. Again, I realise you really really want to have Wales as a part of your country but you've long ago lost that battle.

I agree with you there Cy, and from now on I will think of the team as the Welsh and English team,generally speaking,people tend to think of all of us as being English!! Rolling Eyes

The Aussies are better than the Poms at whingeing.

You should have heard some of the stuff the Australians came out with after the Rugby World Cup Final in 2003, the Ashes in 2005 and the Olympics in 2008.

Before the Beijing Olympics, the British (or English) Sports Minister, Gerry Sutcliffe, and his Australian counterpart had a bet over who would finish higher in the medals table. The British won the bet after winning 19 gold medals to Australia's 14, and the Aussie Sports Minister had to wear a Team GB kit to an Olympics event.
