At last I've found how to say hello to the members of the forum. Middle aged Luddite extends greetings to you all. This is as lively a site as I've seen and a great place to air views on our country and its future.

There are a lot of folk out there true scotsman. I've always found that most typical supporters of independence keep it pretty quiet though. At the launch of the independence convention Elaine C Smith described it as "Independence; the movement that dare not speak its name".
