i attempted to post a thread in the football section as the lennon topic was locked. it related to an accusation that i couldnt seperate sectarianism and football. was there a problem when i posted the thread or was it removed? i will be very dissapointed if it has been removed i dont tend to use sites where admin only like threads that suit there agendas.

My 'agenda' is for people to post threads in the right sections, and to stick to the topic when posting. The only person who seems to have an 'agenda' here is you.
I have never needed to lock a thread in this forum until your arrival. Since you have registered only a few days ago you have had threads split for constantly going off-topic, you've had 2 threads locked and posts deleted for being in the completely wrong section.
You remarked in another thread that you've been banned from other forums - well it's no wonder if you continue to flaunt the rules and post extremely questionable 'opinions'. As for using this forum - that's entirely up to you and your behaviour - although if you continue in this vein then the decision may be made for you.
As for my comment - you seem to think that both football and bigotry are intrinsically linked in the same way that you think that religious groupings are linked to political opinions and voting behaviour. You generalise far too often which is a dangerous thing to do as it assumes that people of the same religion, or race, or nationality - are all the same when it comes to certain traits of their personality. In extreme cases - it's this sort of mentality that dictators such as Milosevic used when trying to justify ethnic cleansing.
I don't like it as this is a knuckledragging attitude and thankfully is becoming less common in our modern society. I know plenty of people who buck the trend of your generalisations and who would take great offence in some of the rubbish you spout. _________________ "Every single person on this planet is unique. you made an allegation about me and when i questioned it you removed the thread in what way is that debate? as for the threads i have been barred from most users who try and have any level of debate on those sites are quickly removed, on the site aontacht where i found the link for this site i have had many debates with unionists and they have never had cause to complain about me.
what i am stating, however, is fact that in the north of ireland voting behaviour is very heavily linked to both religion and of course views on the national question, these are indisputable facts. voter dealignment in terms of social class etc may have declined in britain but this clearly isnt yet the case in the north of ireland, if you can provide me with one credible political scientist who says different i will ve very surprised.
maybe your signature should be its ma baw and your no playin if a dont agree with you. hoots man |

Look bud - I'm completely fed up arguing with you over this.
I deleted the thread because it was posted in the TOTALLY wrong section.
If you don't like the forum or it's rules you don't need to post. It's that simple. _________________ "Every single person on this planet is unique. Just like everyone else..." - Random Guy in Edinburgh Pub

this site is only 6 weeks old - yet we already have 90 members.
I think that is good going - it's going to get much busier and much livelier very quickly. _________________ "Every single person on this planet is unique. Just like everyone else..." - Random Guy in Edinburgh Pub
