he will not end up at celtic. I can't really see how he'd actually improve celtic's squad.

the only player he would replace in their starting line up would be neil lennon - and he wouldn't give that up easily.

I think starchan knows better than to sign keane given the amount of money he wants coupled with the disharmony he caused at united. Strachan and Fergie are obviously very close and I think if he was considering it he would think twice having talked to ferguson about him.

Keane should just hang up his boots now before he becomes a has been.

If Keane really wants to help Celtic he'd do well to hone his coaching skills under Strachan - he'd command great respect from top to bottom at the club - and would be invaluable in helping some of the youngsters at the club

You're probably right about the Celtic midfield not needing him. Any other team in the league would fit him in no prob though IMO. I suppose it really depends what sort of money he's asking for. Some Celtic fan on the radio last night saying he would prefer to use the money on offering Petrov a better deal - definately better value for money IMO in keeping Petrov.
