...how the f**k this Labour Government isn't collapsing?

In the early 90's, after 'Black Wednesday' the Conservative government was no longer trusted and went on a downward spiral.

This Labour Government has no credibility left. How Blair is still in power is beyond me.

It is beginning to unravel Labour can no longer blame the Tories for the economy or failures within the Health and tax systems. Sleaze is now epidemic within most of the London centric parties. Tony and his band of Red coated Tories will begin to suffer the backlash of Middle England and with any luck the Blind loyalty that the central belt of Scotland has shown to the sham that is New Labour will also be broken.

When are the English local elections? At the end of the day, the Labour party have shown that they will put up with anything so long as they continue to get elected. A bad result in those elections will mean the end of Blair as PM.

I don't think Blair will be finished if they feck up the local elections - he's got lots of scapegoats in the cabinet to blame it on now.

I think Labour are going too lose quite a lot of seats in the English Local Elections since English people are starting to get fed up of Labour not listening to them.

They're next Thursday. I caught the Labour PPB tonight, and I laughed when they brought up David Cameron being present at Black Wednesday, after their own Black Wednesday yesterday.

I'm trying to think about what to do with my lovely three-candidate ballot paper then: it's going to have to be spoiled, but I'm still considering what to write (I've ruled out "F*** the lot of you"). Right now just writing "What have I done to deserve this lot?!" is a favourite. Any suggestions?

Interestingly enough, I got a leaflet from the LibDem candidate begging people not to vote Tory as "it might let Labour in!" How times change! Very Happy

According to the Scotsman, more to come with Prescott Very Happy

"MINISTERS were last night bracing themselves for more embarrassing revelations to emerge about the private life of John Prescott, the deputy prime minister.

Despite a public show of support from colleagues including Gordon Brown, the Chancellor, there is a growing sense of foreboding in the government about Mr Prescott."

The Tories got more votes in the last General Election in England than Labour did.

But the Tories didn't win more seats than Labour in England. Are you advocating electoral reform as well as English independence?

When are you going to understand the electoral system in the UK?

I'd put it simply for you:

....you vote for the candidate, not the party. Whether Labour got more votes is irrelevant.
