News, articles, press releases and reports in and about Gàidhlig (Scottish Gaelic) from Alba (Scotland) and around the world.

Gaelic-News is sent in newsletter mode (i.e. moderator only posts). No more than 4 posts will be sent per day, and that only on a 'busy news day'. Reports concerning other Celtic and 'minority languages' are occassionally sent, but are clearly marked "off-topic" .

Members are encouraged to send their own Gaelic news to the moderator for posting on the list, at: Gaelic-News-owner@yahoogroups.com
