An avatar gallery would be helpful for IT illiterates like myself

Hi Carol - there is an Avatar gallery already in place.

You need to go into 'Profile' - which is listed at the top of the page, and then scroll down to 'Select Avatar from gallery' which is right at the very bottom of the page in the Profile section.

Unfortunately the forum software has slim pickings when it comes to the avatar gallery though! Embarassed

Aye just had a look there - there is loads but unfortunately it's all Japanese Manga cartoon like stuff.

I can take your avatar across from the IF forum if you like and upload it, OR - I can make you a completely new one in a style you request - it's up to you - it'll only take me a few mins.

Thanks, you can transfer that one across if you wish. Unfortunately it's not on this pc so i can't download it.
