Call me Ishmael. Er, Dreadbelly.
I like the ideas the forum promotes, so I joined. I have strong Scots roots. I am obnoxious, I am opinionated, I am a loud annoying pain in the pleats that will not go away.
And that's just my good qualities.
Looking forward to some good conversation.
I hope and pray to see some of my X-Marks friends here.

My interest in Scottish Nationalism is budding. There is much I need to learn to fully understand everything that is going on.
But I am a big supporter in the idea that a nation should be free from tyranny and opression, and should self rule. No man should live in subjugation under somebody's boot heel.
I found out that one of my ancestors was brought to America as a slave... He was a Scot. Made to be an "indentured servant" to some Englishman. Since learning this, I have had an interest in seeing a free Scotland. I look over in that direction now, and see something that really bothers me.
But I don't know enough about the whole situation so I just don't say to much out of fear of making a fool out of my self.
