Graham Rix has now been officially appointed as the new Hearts head coach. What do folk think? I can't understand what Romanov is playing at. Even if the guy has served his time etc, it will only do harm to Hearts reputation. I cringe to think about some of the songs that are going to be sung at him. Even English non-league Crawley Town wouldn't give him a job last week!

Just another day at Romanov's Tynecastle.
What next - the Hell's Angels doing the stewarding?
Shirt sponsorship by the Scottish Tories?
As for the appointment, well Rix will be a yes man, he dosen't have any other options, and will allow Romanov to buy the players he wants.

| I think the only thing that may save them is if they appoint a really high profile 'Director of Sport'. Someone who would take all the media attention away from Rix. I can see this post remaining open for some time though, so that Vlad can work as acting-DoS with Rix (as you say Abieuan) a yes man. |

I think there is special discompensation for sheep in the NE .
Latest news seems to be that Craig Brown is being lined up as Director of Fitba. Again, can't say he's someone I'd like to be involved with my club, but I suppose he does have a lot of contacts etc in the game. |
