Just a wee note to say hi to everyone in the forum. I've had a wee look around and found some really interesting posts.
I'm really interested in people's views on the role nationalism plays in Scottish politics post-devolution. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be eternally grateful. I hope I'll make some relevant contributions.
Looking forward to getting to know you all.

Welcome Shyirasky - hope you enjoy the forums. I know it can feel daunting entering debates when you just join a forum, but feel free to jump right in. _________________ "Every single person on this planet is unique. Just like everyone else..." - Random Guy in Edinburgh Pub

Many thanks for the warm welcome. I spent a lot of time looking around the internet on forums before joing here. This is really the first political forum I've ever joined. Some of the posts looks way over my head in terms of knowledge but I do hope I'll be able to add something.
I'm fairly new to the politics of Scotland. Having spent most of my life being a "floating voter" I think it's about time I take a serious interest and start figuring things out. I was asked a fairly pertinent question a few weeks ago and have pondered it since. I'll start a new post rather than deal with it here. Suffice to say, the more I learn the more interested I become in Scotland and her history/politics.
Thanks again for the welcome. _________________ Shyirasky |
