GUANTANAMO: 5 YEARS ON
On 11 January 2007 the US prison camp at Guantanamo Bay will have been in
operation for five years. Over 750 people have been subjected to arbitrary
and indefinite imprisonment and torture and none have been released as a
result of the legal process. Of those who have been released, none have
subsequently been charged.
The National Guantanamo Coalition will be marking this day with two
events.
1) London
Join the London Guantanamo Campaign and its supporters as we mark this day
with a vigil outside Downing Street demanding the closure of the prison.

In Edinburgh on the 11th with a public meeting in Glasgow the night before with Amer Anwar as the main speaker.
