I try to do my small bit toward preserving the enviorment that we live in. The remedy is not going to be popular but because of its common sense and because it is the only thing that will keep planet earth alive, I am willing to go down that road.

For too long the thinking has always been geared towards greater technology, forever onwards! well some how we have to go back to the drawing board and revise that way of thinking. Not that it is bad or even possible to stop progress!! On the contrary, progression should evolve toward ultimate survival and NOT toward destroying each other.Whether it be on a personal/communal/country/or indeed worldwide level.

The industrial revolution in G.B during the Victorian era is largely responsible for starting the ball rolling toward these advances (IMO) Not that it would not have happened otherwise but which has frankly become too destructive and as water cannot be "Made" neither can many of these toxic wastes /weapons be destroyed. The question is where will it be dumped when it too becomes redundant due to higher still technology?

Waste management is a major conundrum!! The American Government are willing to pay small Island nations that will never, except for exceptional deeds make their mark on the rest of the world. And so they try to dump their waste there for a few million.

But not in Barbados I hasten to add!

Speaking of which, In the Caribbean no one starves. Fruit and veg grow wild and the sea is available to all,no license needed to fish. The weather is almost perfect. It is one of the most healthy regions in the world.

As a matter of fact apart from japan, Barbados has the most folk who have reached a ton per capatia in the world.

This link and the other links on this site are amazing! It reminds me of frodo's home in the Lord Of the rings!
