Folks
Apologies if this appears in the wrong place but I feel it's worthy read and relevant, based on the final few chapters discussing the last 100 years, where it all "went wrong " and generally balanced read.

Now, this is the ENTIRE history of Scotland and well worth a read. However, the full electoral vote history is included as is, a significant section on the politics of the 20th century thereafter.
Just re-affirms what I always knew, and what I will continue to believe in...since 1707, a stupendously awful act of Union was born (I may add, from a sincere shafting economically by the English to the Scots) and thereafter, no LEGITIMATE reason has existed for this Godforsaken union.
Anyways, just thought I'd share it with ye all.
WC.

| Cheers WC. Just had a glance at the electoral results. I keep hearing how the Tories used to be really strong in Scotland. But it seems that the Tories have only been the biggest party on three occasions, 1924, 1931 and 1935. |
