Mark today down in your calender folks because a piece of cricketing history was made today.
For the first time in a One Day International and only the third ever time in top class cricket, a player has smashed six sixes in one over.
It is truly amazing. Hats off to Herschelle Gibbs. The only problem is Scotland are playing them next

Gibbs smashes his sixth six off Daan van Bunge's final delivery
Herschelle Gibbs made World Cup history by smashing six sixes off a Daan van Bunge over in South Africa's rain-hit 40-over game against the Netherlands.
The feat had never before been achieved in a one-day international.
Graeme Smith (67) and Jacques Kallis (128 not out) put on 114 for the second wicket, while Gibbs holed out for 72.
But Mark Boucher (75 not out) hit the fastest fifty in World Cup history as South Africa hit the most sixes in an ODI innings (1 and finished on 353-3.
Boucher needed just 21 balls to reach his half-century.
Details of Gibbs' six sixes
Balls 1,2 & 3 - Driven straight over the bowler
Ball 4 - Full toss pulled over midwicket
Ball 5 - Flat-batted long hop over long-on
Ball 6 - Short ball smashed over long-off
AB de Villiers was caught behind off the second ball of the match after the Dutch had won the toss, but it was one-way traffic thereafter.
Smith and Kallis showed all their experience against the Netherlands' lightweight seam attack, reaching their century stand within 17 overs.
After Smith had skied a catch to point in the 19th over, Gibbs hit out in style, putting on 105 with Kallis.
The first man to hit six sixes off an over in first-class cricket was West Indies legend Sir Gary Sobers, when playing for Nottinghamshire against Glamorgan's Malcolm Nash in Swansea in 1968.
Former India all-rounder Ravi Shastri then equalled the feat playing for Bombay in a first-class game against Baroda in 1984.
However, Gibbs became the first player to do so in a one-day international - and he also won a million US dollars from Johnnie Walker for the Habitat For Humanity charity.

JH Kallis/MV Boucher: 30 (Same match)

On six occasions, 28 has been scored in an over
Van Bunge's only consolation was that it was he who held the catch to dismiss Gibbs, who made 72 off 40 balls, off the bowling of captain Luuk van Troost.
But there was no respite for the men in orange after Gibbs' departure as Boucher's powerful hitting despatched the beleagured Dutch attack to all corners of the small St Kitts ground.
He helped his side break the six-hitting record by clearing the ropes four times himself, while Kallis hit 11 fours and five sixes.
As records continued to tumble, South Africa also clocked up their highest score in a World Cup match.
Van Troost's last over went for 30 runs, including a bouncer which went for five wides. Kallis and Boucher added an incredible 134 runs from the last 55 balls.

Poor the Netherlands RH as they were steamrollered intae the pitch and could only watch the ball go aerial  into the stands, worse, six of em in a historic row! HOW embarrassing 
I reckon Scotland won't be so badly off and take a leaf out of Irelands book! 
And dear auld Blighty got whupped but good by the Kiwis!    Wots the matter wae Flintoff??? Weel he bowled well but hummnnnn

I thought Chris Gayle was going to repeat the deed against Zim yesterday but the bowler held his nerve and stopped him at three! Pity!
