I am not very good with introductions, but what the heck, so here goes.
I am what Steven MacDonald called a "Grandchild of Scotland" in one of his songs. (A second generation American with direct Scottish ancestery.)
I came upon this site whilst doing research on the upcoming elections, and the possibility of a referendum on Scottish independence. I wanted to learn not only the history of the movement, but real Sottish and English emotions about it.
I do theatrics where I portray either a Scottish Clan Chief, or a Scottish Duke at Renaissance Faires, so I am interested in as much historical Scottish authenticity as possible. So, as a photographer, I probably have a few thousand photographs of Americans portraying Scotsmen and women at Ren Faires and Highland games.
That's about all I can come up with as starters.
