Basra cuts ties with British troops

Basra's ruling council yesterday severed relations with British military forces and diplomatic staff in response to the weekend airing of video footage purporting to show soldiers beating four young civilians during a riot in 2004.

But they had previously cut ties with brittish soldier due to the relations with the Danish. They mearly decided they still weren't talking to the British army
