Yes, I agree, many Scottish nationalists are deeply immature.

Well, it's rather obvious. They've as much as said it themselves.

Yes, I suppose you can't lose an argument if you pretend yourself to be above it. Which is all you've ever done on this forum.
I'm perfectly pleasant to everyone who can argue and discuss in a mature and decent fashion. You have shown time and again you are capable of nothing more than vitriol and plain old ignorance.

Oh really? Would you care to give us some details of this claim? _________________ "My instinct is to agree with your opinion of his verse, but I've never so much as glanced at it." - agentmancuso |

'British' citezenship needs to be 'promoted'! Why? They are also supposed to cater for the 'Nations andRegions'... It can't be done at that level then?
| Quote: | | There's nothing remotely fragmented about the UK. |
Nationalists in power, or sharing power in all the devolved National governments. Seperatist sentiment rising in the polls.
When independence is voted for, it won't come as a surprise to the rest of the world. Yet some in the UK might raise an eyebrow or two.

Where is my error then Aventinian? If the SoS gives a remit, surely he/she wants to be sure it's carried out.
| Quote: | | Does he presently demand the case for socialism is made on the BBC? Again, if you think the BBC is pro-government, you're ignoring huge swathes of evidence. |
He might if he were a socialist, yet there are none in this government.
No, I don't believe the BEEB is pro government. I believe it is pro-union (by design). I've already posted that the BEEB lost it's Chairman and Govenor General (IMHO) for being too critical of the government. So give me a wee swathe of evedence which gives you reason to think that please?
| Quote: | | No, the SoS for Culture, Media and Sport is not responsible for fulfilling this, the Governors and Director-General of the BBC are. |
Govenment gives the BBC it's remit.
| Quote: | | It doesn't matter that a government is unwilling to do what it promised? |
No proof of that Aventinian, it's your oppinion.
| Quote: | | It's got nothing to do with being a minority government - they could negotiate a great deal more of their manifesto if they wished to. They don't, because they've realised it's impossible. |
Yep, impossible to negotiate with parties ordered not to negotiate with you by their London masters.
| Quote: | | Scottish nationalists, you mean? |
I meant the majority of Scots, you could be right too.... |

I hate to break it to you, but your delusional rantings are not argument, they are the result of deep seated prejudice and an increasing bitterness.
You and your sort lost the argument a good while back, the debate has moved on but you are still stuck throwing the same pathetic slurs. |
