Lists are good
In true High Fidelity style, here is my top ten list of favourite songs.
1. Mayonaisse - Smashing Pumpkins
2. Radio Friendly Unit Shifter - Nirvana
3. Rearviewmirror - Pearl Jam
4. Creep - Stone Temple Pilots
5. Burst Noel - Malcom Middleton
6. 500 Miles - Proclaimers
7. Indifference - Pearl Jam
Got to go, I think of the other 3 later, but Newsnight Scotland is on!!!!

I stopped watching Newsnight after I was laid up in bed after the car crash.
This is what most dictionaries have about politicians ...
pol·i·ti·cian
n.
1.
a. One who is actively involved in politics, especially party politics.
b. One who holds or seeks a political office.
2. One who seeks personal or partisan gain, often by scheming and maneuvering: "Mothers may still want their favorite sons to grow up to be President, but . . . they do not want them to become politicians in the process" John F. Kennedy.
3. One who is skilled or experienced in the science or administration of government.
I believe dictionaries should carry this definition of politicians in future:
Politician ...
lying, theiving, cheating, manipulative, deceitful, dishonest, two-faced, insincere, untruthful, mendacious, double-dealing, false b*st*rds!
Especially when it comes to the female half of the Alexander Brothers whom I had the misfortune to be introduced to at Holyrood a couple of years ago. She comes across like a schemie sweetie-wifie trying to sell you dodgy DVDs! |

I'm not joking BA, tonights edition of Newsnight Scotland was absolutely brilliant. I am sure you can see it on the BBC website or something.
Gordon Brewer just ripped Iain Gray, Labour MSP, to shreads. At one point he said something along the lines of, perhaps we should try another language because you are making no sense in English

hey at least gubby Ms Alexander has pushed independence forward I don't think we've ever has as much media attention on this issue
I'm fed up of politics as well, hardly watch any of the programmes. Was never a party person whilst a member of the SNP (now lapsed).
Anyway Banter is an escape from all that, I prefer to suffer BA instead |

Would you like a JCB to help you dig that hole you're digging, Carol??
RH ... have you ever had a schemie sweetie-wife try to sell you dodgy DVDs in the street?? Clue: stay out of places like Pilton, Easterhouse, Menzieshill, Bucksburn and Raploch.

That hole is going to have a purpose one day! Don't plant flowers. Keep a slab of granite handy. I'll see to the rest! |

hey BA you brighten up a dreary day, now that's a compliment!
I don't think I'll ever make a Percy Thrower, was planting sunflower plugs into pots last night and some were more than just leaning to the side. |

RH, did you see the Iain Gray interview too?
Why did it give me the mental image of Gordon Brewer clubbing a seal? _________________ (\_/)

'Now, the sort of person we're looking for is an aggressive lout with the intelligence of a four-year-old and the sexual sophistication of a donkey.' Sounds like Macnumpty to me!
Carol, I'd much prefer the sound of a cat hung up by its tail outside a window and trying to stick to the panes of glass with its claws, than listen to anything you have to say.
RH ... I suspect you're not really good for anything, but people will laugh when you tumble down the stairs. |

It was brutal, but extremely funny at the same time. Brewer is the best interviewer on Newsnight.

RH, didn't you just love it when Iain Gray tried showing off by sayihg he could do the interview in Portuguese if Brewer wanted it?
Oh, and BA, telling RH your plans isn't the smartest thing to do. But you'll learn that the hard way when the Scarlet Ninja Death Squad turns up in your bedroom! _________________ (\_/)

Is that who they were?? Dear, dear ... you'll have to better than that, MacNumpty. Baldrick and the wolves made very short work of them!
But are you sure you want to go down this old familiar road of tit for tat again?? My tats will beat your lot every time! |

No, BA, do keep up, that was the Crimson Sumurai Decoy Assault Team.
And while you might be proud of your tats, my tits are a thing of wonder.
They nest in a nearby birdhouse! _________________ (\_/)

RH there are females around!
I think BA's been watching a scene from Corrie, where David pushes his mother down the stairs, apparently he's a bit off the rails as well.
Welcome back Mr Nasty! |
