Tha triur sgriobhadairean cho ainmeil 's tha air a Ghaidhealtachd gu bhith lathair aig sreath thachartasan ann an Leabharlainn ann an sgire na h-Eaglaise Brice.

Bheir na sgriobhadairean an doigh shonraichte, sgileil fhein gu feasgair Leugh Mor ann an Leabharlainn Larbert, Inbhir Ghrainnse, agus Bonnybridge mar phairt de shreath thachartasan airson a'Mhoid Naiseanta Rioghail a tha tighinn do'n Eaglais Bhric anns an Damhair.

Ged a tha am Mod a cur mor chudthrom air ceol na Gaidhealtachd tha e fior chudthromach cuideachd bardachd agus ceol a'chumail beo mar phairt de'n Fheis Ghaidhlig seo, agus seallaidh na feasgair seo cho beothail agus cho alainn 's a tha an canan.

Tha Aonghas Padruig Caimbeul, Bard, ur sgeulaiche, sgriobhadair, craoladair agus cleasaiche na Fhear an Taighe aig feasgar bardachd, sgeulachdan agus ceol anns an Leabharlann ann an Larbert Diluain an dara latha fichead de'n t-Sultain aig cairteil an deidh an seachd.Bidh Mairi agus Steaphanaidh Chaimbeul a'cluiche ceol.

Tormod MacIlleathain - gle thric air ainmeachadh mar Billy Connolly na Gaidhealtachd - bheir esan a sheorsa fhein de fhealla dha agus eirmseachd gu oidhche bheothail de bhardachd agus sgeulachdan ann an Leabharlann Inbhir Ghrainnse air Di Mairt an t-seachdamh latha de'n t- Sultainn aig seachd uairean.

Agus bidh Martainn Mac ant-Saoir ,fear a'bhuannaich duais airson bardachd agus sgriobhadh na fhear an taighe ann an Leabharlann Bonnybridge Diardaoin naoi latha de'n Damhair aig seachd uairean.

Tha failte chridheil air a h-uile duine oir tha na tachartasan ann an Gaidhlig agus Beurla agus bheir iad dhuinn fiosrachadh miorbhuileach air canan agus cultur na Gaidhealtachd.

Tha na ticeadan a cosg da not agus tha iad ri faighinn ann an Leabharlann sam bith ann an sgire na h-Eaglaise Brice.

THREE of Gaeldom’s most highly acclaimed writers will be appearing at a series of events in Falkirk district libraries.

The authors will bring their unique storytelling skills to Read Mor evenings at Larbert, Grangemouth and Bonnybridge libraries, as part of a series of events leading up to The Royal National Mod, which comes to Falkirk in October.

While much of the Mod focuses on the music of the Highlands, keeping the poetry and language alive is a hugely important part of the Gaelic festival, and these evenings will show how vibrant and beautiful the language can be.

Angus Peter Campbell, an award-winning poet, novelist, journalist, broadcaster and actor, hosts an evening of poetry, storytelling and music at Larbert library on Monday, September 22 at 7.15 p.m. Music will be provided by Mairi and Steaphanaidh Campbell.

Norman MacLean – often described as the Billy Connolly of the Gaidhealtachd - will bring his unique brand of humour and wit to an evening of lively storytelling to Grangemouth on Tuesday, October 7 at 7 p.m.

And prize-winning novelist and poet Martin MacIntyre will host an evening of poetry and storytelling at Bonnybridge library on Thursday, October 9.

Non-Gaelic speakers will be welcome at these events, which will be hosted in Gaelic and English, and will provide a wonderful insight into the language and culture of the Highlands.

All tickets are £2 and are available from any Falkirk Council library.
