This year the Royal National Mod is coming to the Falkirk area for the very first time, from 10th to 18th October We are honoured and proud to host the Mod and pleased to play our part in helping to ensure the survival of the Gaelic language and culture.

A Mod fringe programme will run throughout the event, featuring a wide range of events to appeal to the whole community. Some of the highlights are listed here but look out for more information.

To set the scene, former Runrig frontman Donnie Munro will play at FTH on Saturday 13 September, with support from the Catriona Watt Trio. Tickets are £15 (£14) from The Steeple box office. Tel: 01324 506850.


Live Music
Friday 10th 7:30pm
Official opening of the Mod @ FTH (tickets are free but need to be booked through The Steeple box office)

Friday 10th 9pm
Opening night ceilidh dance with Lochaber ceilidh band @ The Park Hotel (tickets £6 order from box office)

Fiddlers Rally @ FTH (£9 mod members and £10 non members, order from box office)

Live music at the band stand and Steeple from local traditional musicians (free, no ticket required)
