Very sad to hear that Celtic and Wales legend is suffering from Testicular Cancer which has spread to his brain. Horrible thing. Always liked Hartson for his passion towards Wales and any club he played for also for the pride with which he regarded his ability to speak Welsh and his role for younger Welsh speakers in Wales.

Get well soon Super Johnny Hartson!

Yeah our thoughts are with him and his family. I swore at him many a time but he was a good target man. _________________ "An oppressive government is to be more feared than a tiger" |

My thoughts when it was announced it had spread from his testes to his brain were that it would be somewhere else too.
Sadly, I suspect that he'll not be with us too much longer. _________________ Visit Scotsgait then follow us on Twitter !! |

| It saddly looks more likely that way but think Lance Armstrong (who I gather has sent him and his family his support), he was in a bad state and got through it. Fingers crossed |

Sad Stuff indeed, A' Chymro.
His age is very sad. 34 years young, a father of young Children and what you'd expect his life ahead of him.
I really hope Big John can pull through. As a Player, I thought he did an excellent job for Celtic and scored some vital Goals, especially that wonderful goal at Annfield to send Liverpool crashing out.
Out with the game, I heard/seen him on TV a few times and seemed like an honest, geniunie, and good soul. I really hope he can pull through.
All the best John.
