Anyone like mountian biking or any other form of cycling ?
Scotland has some of the best mountian bike trails in the world and is considered to be by the IMBA (International Mountian Biking Association) the best place in the world for mountian biking !

Always fancied getting into mountain biking although have never found the time. I am more into running and am taking part in the Glasgow Half Marathon next month.
Also quite fancy doing a duathlon at some point, with something like 30k cycling then 10k running. _________________ Visit the Our Scotland Blog at http://our-scotland.blogspot.com/ |

I've got a good friend who's a keen Mountain Biker. He goes all around Scotland on his bike and has some scars/bruises/bumps to show for it.
I enjoy more leisure cycling on leisure paths and roads.
I have recently got into Running, Hero. I'm still building up my fitness levels, but do you have any tips on how to get past ''The Wall'' so to speak. I go out around 3/4 days a week and usually for 1 and half hours, of this time, I will run for around 50mins-1hr.
I seem to have to stop now and again, and I don't know if this is because of my general fitness or bottle? Any tips for a Novice?
I've been playing Golf around 3/4 times a week, sometimes more and do Hillwalking/Cycling every few weeks as well. I'd like to consider myself to be in a reasonably fit shape, but just cannot seem to continue running.
Thanks in advance,
P.S. Sorry for chaning the topic Celtic-Indian. Feel free to write more about Mountain Biking |
