Was hoping someone could help. I've been on the Rock N' Roll for a few months now, and finally, something has came up on the Job-Front!
I don't start until Early December, so I was wondering how this would work? I am totally skint at the moment £35.00 in my bank account, and I have my signing on day on Friday.
Do I tell them about my Job? Or, just denying it, and say I'm waiting to hear conformation of my pending-employment? Are you still entitled to Jobseeker's allowance?
Anyone know anything about this?
Many thanks in advance. |

| I think there is a central number you can ring to ask about this sort of thing without having to tell who you are. So you might want to look that up on the dwp website. |

Cheers for that guys, cheers Jambo for the link to that.
Yeah, it's with the ambulance service so i'm looking fwd to that new position. I've got my dole on Friday and just not sure if I should tell them I've got a job as I wouldn't be 'looking for work' as such, just waiting to start. |
